JLICS will share your personal data with ACC Europe (5 Rue Castiglione, 75001 Paris, France) and ACC (1001 G Street NW, Suite 300W, Washington DC 2001, USA).

JLICS is collecting this data to:

  • Process your conference registration and take payment
  • Send you information about the 2021 ACC Europe Annual Conference
  • Provide you with customer service

You have the right to access, amend and/or delete the personal data held about you or, where applicable, withdraw your consent for the collection and processing of your personal data at any time by emailing acceurope@judylaneics.com. Please include your full name, name of your organisation, email address and country of residence as provided on this registration form and any action you wish us to take. Please note that a request to suspend the processing of or delete your personal data, or withdrawal of your consent where applicable, might result in JLICS being unable to process your conference registration or your conference registration being cancelled, and your inability to attend the conference. In case of a cancellation you will be financially liable for the administration charges, and registration fees might not be refunded – as set out in the Registration cancellation terms and conditions of this registration form.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority if you believe there is a problem with the way your personal data is being handled.

ACC and ACC Europe Privacy Policy and data sharing with sponsors

ACC and ACC Europe collect and process personal data about their members and conference delegates and use this information in connection with organising and promoting ACC Europe and ACC events, publishing newsletters and providing other resources of interest to the in-house legal profession. ACC Europe will share your personal data with its affiliate ACC in the United States of America for the purpose of providing you with information and services of interest to the in-house legal profession.

ACC and ACC Europe also release:

  • name (first and last), organisation, position and country of all delegates to the sponsors of the 2021 ACC Europe Annual Conference as part of their sponsorship agreement.
  • name (first and last), organisation, position and country of those delegates participating in a sponsored session to the sponsor of that specific session as part of their sponsorship agreement

Please note that some of the ACC Europe Annual Conference sponsors might be based outside the EU, including countries (such as the United States of America) with which the European Commission has not made a GDPR Article 45 adequacy decision. You may access, amend and/or request the deletion of the personal data ACC Europe and/or ACC hold about you at any time by contacting the ACC Europe Administrator at eur-annie@accglobal.com or privacy@acc.com

Participant list on the virtual platform

All delegates will be included in the participant list of the virtual platform to enhance your networking opportunities. This list displays your name (first and last), position, organisation and country.

Image and voice recordings

ACC and ACC Europe will be recording sessions (audio and video), taking screenshots, photographs and videos of the conference for the legitimate purpose of disseminating information about their activities, and your image and voice may be processed accordingly. In some instances, you may be clearly identifiable in the picture or audio. You grant ACC and ACC Europe the right to use any image, photograph, voice recording or likeness, recorded during this virtual conference without limitation and without compensation, in its promotional materials and on its website. All such recordings are the property of ACC and ACC Europe and may be used by ACC and ACC Europe for any purpose. ACC and ACC Europe will generally retain the recordings for no more than 10 years.

Registration cancellation terms and conditions

The ACC and ACC Europe reserve the right to amend or cancel the event where deemed necessary. If the event is cancelled, then a full refund of fees paid will be made but the organisers will accept no further liability. Delegates cancelling their registration should do so in writing to acceurope@judylaneics.com. Cancellations received in writing by 5.30pm GMT on 30 April 2021 to acceurope@judylaneics.com will result in a refund of the registration fees paid less a €20 administration charge. No refunds will be made after this date. Substitutions from the same organisation, eligible to attend, may be made in writing without penalty.
