Personal Details

We will be using a mobile App for the conference and your email address will be used as your password for download. Please ensure that you have entered your address correctly.

Educational Credit

ACC Europe will seek formal accreditation in advance of the 2017 conference in Illinois, Texas, and Washington State. These states' accreditations, if awarded, are also eligible for claiming credit under the New York Approved Jurisdiction Policy and the California Approved Jurisdiction Policy. Many other jurisdictions in Europe, the US and Canada may confer credit similarly; please check your local rules.

Certificates of Attendance will be issued by email after the conference to delegates who have their badges scanned in every session they attend. Delegates may use those certificates to claim, or make application for, credit in their jurisdictions of choice. Please refer to the rules of your local bar or law society as to the requirements and process of applying for credit in your jurisdiction.

If you are licensed in Illinois, Texas or Washington State, we are required to report your attendance directly back to the bar. Please supply your identifying number below, and ensure your badge is scanned in at the sessions you attend. If you do not supply your number, we will be unable to report your attendance and you will not receive educational credit.

Included in the registration fee is:

Conference Sessions

An indication of your session choice is mandatory to allow us to allocate correct meeting space. However, this does not commit you to attend your selected session at the event.

The above rates are inclusive of VAT, wi-fi and buffet breakfast (served in the exhibition area on Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 May), exclusive of EUR1 per night per person city tax. Should you choose to have breakfast in the hotel's restaurant on these two days, an additional charge will be made to your room account.

Venue for the ACC Europe Conference Dinner on Monday 8 May

Built in 1930, the hotel retains many of the characteristics of the period, with its white facade, beautiful gardens and elegant classic decor with views over the charming town of Estoril and the Bay of Cascais. The hotel is a 20 minute walk along the promenade to the Hotel Miragem (conference venue), or a short taxi ride.

Accommodation Guarantee

A credit card number (VISA/Mastercard/Amex) is required to guarantee your reservation and will be shared with the hotel who will take a non-refundable deposit of one night's room rate plus tax from the card 30 days prior to your arrival. In the event that any cancellation penalties are payable (see accommodation cancellation terms and conditions below), this card will be debited for the amount due.

From 4 April 2017 the full stay will be charged to your card by the hotel unless the cancelled room nights can be re-sold to another ACC Europe delegate. The full payment penalty also applies to no-shows (non-arrival on the day of your reservation).

Data Protection

In accordance with European privacy legislation, ACC Europe will not share your personal information with third parties (e.g. conference sponsors) without your consent. However, in an effort to assist our conference sponsors in their forward planning of social events by invitation, you are encouraged to opt in to sharing your data for this purpose (email address and telephone number will be withheld).

Image Release

Your registration and attendance at this event indicates your consent to be filmed and to the use of your image, without payment of any kind, for use in programme(s) and for other promotional/editorial activities of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and ACC Europe for future use in any and all media, now known or hereafter created.

Visa Policy

It is the sole responsibility of each delegate to take care of his/her visa requirements. Please allow sufficient time for the relevant application procedures. The organisers will not accept liability for non-approval of visas and any request for a refund of registration fees and accommodation deposits paid will be considered under the normal terms, conditions and deadlines of the conference cancellation terms and conditions and the hotel accommodation cancellation terms.

Registration Cancellation Terms and Conditions

The organisers reserve the right to amend or cancel the event where deemed necessary. If the event is cancelled then a full refund of fees paid will be made but the organisers will accept no further liability. Delegates cancelling their registration should do so in writing to
Cancellations received before 1 April 2017 will receive a refund of the registration fees paid less a €95 administration charge. No refunds will be made after this date. Substitutions from the same organisation (and eligible to attend) may be made in writing without penalty.
